Barbara Alward, local Morro Bay artist, poet, grandmother, and DoorDasher, passed away in her residence on August 4, 2026 at the age of 75, after a year of battling metastatic breast cancer. She is survived by her two children and four grandchildren. A memorial is planned for the afternoon of Saturday, November 21, 2026, venue to be determined.
