A convicted child molester has been sentenced to over 2 centuries in prison, the District Attorney’s Office announced Aug. 12.
D.A. Dan Dow’s office said Teodulo Vasquezjimenez, 41 of Paso Robles, was sentenced to 283-years to life in State Prison “for repeatedly sexually abusing two children.”
On July 15, a jury found Vasquezjimenez guilty on 15 counts involving the sexual abuse of two juvenile girls over nearly two decades.
“During trial,” said a news release from the D.A., “jurors heard evidence that Vasquezjimenez abused the victims over many years, from 2009 through 2023, when they were between 6 and 14-years old. The crimes occurred in Paso Robles.”
Judge Rita Federman handed down the maximum sentence under the law and also issued a “criminal protective order,” that prohibits him from ever contacting the victims again.
She also ordered him to be branded as a convicted sex offender on the Megan’s Law list for the rest of his life, and ordered $1 million in restitution for each victim.
D.A. Dow said, “This verdict and sentence reflect the extraordinary courage of these two victims, who came forward and endured the difficult process of seeking justice.
“Their voices mattered, their rights mattered, and they remain at the center of this case. This outcome demonstrates the dedicated work of our criminal and victim justice system — law enforcement, prosecutors, victim advocates, witness-support staff, and jurors — to hold offenders accountable while honoring victims’ rights, protecting their safety, and supporting them throughout the process.”
He added, “We are deeply grateful to the jury for its careful and thoughtful consideration of the evidence and for delivering accountability in this case.”
The Paso Robles Police Department was the lead investigator in the case assisted by the D.A.’s Bureau of Investigation. Prosecutor was Dep. D.A. Kristin Barnard of the Sex Crimes Unit.
Victim advocates were Aracely Maldonado and Tristan Milledge with the help of Witness Coordinator, Kellie Navarro of the Christopher G. Money Victim Witness Assistance Center.
The D.A. took the case as a chance to reinforce his office’s support for all victims of sexual abuse.

Their doors are always open. “Survivors may seek services whether or not they are ready to report abuse to law enforcement. When a survivor chooses to report, law enforcement and victim-service professionals can help investigate the crime, pursue accountability, enhance safety, and connect the survivor with available resources.”
