Wanida “Noi” Miner was a hardworking, strong-willed woman whose heart belonged to her family and her community. After moving from Thailand with her husband, Ron Miner, she built a lasting legacy by opening a restaurant in 1994 that served the Central Coast for over 30 years. To Noi, it was more than a restaurant; it was her passion, her happiness, and a way to bring joy to the people she loved.
Known for her hard-headed spirit, unwavering work ethic, and enormous heart, Noi dedicated her life to making others happy. She cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she found joy in traveling, shopping, cooking and experiencing new things. Her impact on the Central Coast is one that few could ever replicate, and her footprint will remain for generations to come.
She is survived by her husband Ron Miner; her sister Doi Klinpratoom; her children, Sienna Miner and Justin Miner; her grandchildren, Jaycee, Jaston, Maddox, and Camila Miner; and her great-grandchildren, Coast and Kovelyn; and numerous nieces and nephews, along with the countless lives she touched throughout her years.
My Grandmother lived a full life; she built something extraordinary and gave so much of herself to the people around her. Though her presence will be deeply missed, the love she shared, the community she helped build, and the legacy she leaves behind will never be forgotten. Her story will live on in every life she touched, and every memory made within the place she worked so hard to create.
A celebration of life is set for December 5 in Baywood Park at Nois Little Thai Temple located at 1288 2nd st.
This all day event is open to the public and will start at 10:30 a.m. and will be a potluck event.
