The Cambria Film Festival will return for its ninth year, February 4-8, screening independent films from around the world across all genres. Passes are now available at CambriaFilmFestival.com.

Last year marked the first year the Cambria Film Festival expanded the borders of its selected film genres, expanding to include documentaries, dramas, thrillers, sci-fi/horror, offering more variety of everything its audiences have come to love. The CFF programming team is confident that this year’s films are going to thrill, enlighten, and entertain audiences.

After the success of 2025, CFF will again host a special event each night of the festival, kicking off with the Opening Night Sponsor Appreciation Reception, honoring the festival sponsors, followed by a screening of “In the Tracks of: Lalo Schifrin,” a competition feature documentary chronicling the life and times of famed composer Lalo Schifrin, coupled with the student short documentary “Behind the Score.”

Other notable events are: Independent Spirit Night: Reception and screening of “Whisper My Name” – the first-ever CFF feature film selection from Iran, Thursday, February 5; Filmmaker Welcome Night, a special screening of indie feature “Burt” directed by Joe Burke and executive produced by David Gordon Green, Friday, February 6;  Awards Reception and Presentation, Saturday, February 7.  All-Access pass holders will enjoy a selection of wine and food while mixing and mingling with filmmakers and filmgoers.

Across three distinct screening venues, located at Cambria Center for the Arts, festival attendees can expect more than 90 competition short and feature films from all around the world. In addition, CFF is will host the return of “Movies at Moonstone Cellars” as well as a varied selection of Film Talks with different hosts and topics each day!

New for 2026, CFF presents the first-ever Family Films block, a curation of independent family and kid-friendly short films. Screenings will be held at noon on 2/6, 2/7, and 2/8, and are free for the community. Bring your kids and enjoy a small dose of CFF with this adorable and heartfelt block of short films.
