Scarecrows have taken over Cambria. The 16th annual festival runs through Oct. 31. The town’s twin villages and San Simeon are covered in fall color themes and handmade scarecrows.
On Saturday, Oct. 26, is the Salute to Scarecrows Party from 6-8 p.m. at Cambria Nursery and Florist, 2801 Eton Rd. There will food from local restaurants, costume prizes, and libations.
The festival also provides scholarships to students poised to graduate from Cambria’s high schools who plan to pursue careers in the arts.
