The Morro Bay theater was turned into a speakeasy for the Los Osos Cares Fundraiser featuring a costume gala, appetisers and silent and live auctions followed by a screening of the movie “Chicago.”

Los Osos Cares is dedicated to, “creating a culture of care by building community, identifying needs, and providing immediate assistance and referrals to address the needs of the underserved in Los Osos, Morro Bay, and Cayucos.”

Linda Queensberry, who co-started the nonprofit in 2016 and retired in 2024, was honored at the fundraiser with the very first “Linda Queensberry Award” honoring the organization’s Volunteer of the Year.
