Los Osos/Baywood Chamber Names New Board

The Los Osos/Baywood Park Chamber of Commerce introduced its 2025 Board of Directors during a retreat on Saturday, January 25, at the Baywood Inn Bed & Breakfast. 

President Colleen Vecchetti expressed enthusiasm for the new board members. She noted that their varied skills and commitment to the community would greatly help with organizing better events that benefit local businesses and residents alike. 

The LOBP Chamber supports its members and hosts a range of community events. These include the Community Awards Dinner, Festival of Flavors, and Oktoberfest. Additionally, the Chamber sponsors holiday events like the Annual Holiday Parade, Community Christmas Tree lighting, and Light Up Los Osos.

“We are excited to be celebrating the Chamber’s 70th anniversary this year and looking forward to the future and what it holds.” said Colleen Vecchetti.

The new officers are Colleen Vecchetti from Movement for Life Physical Therapy, serving as president; Alyssa Petersen, an individual member, is the president-elect; Annie Wahler from Kiwanis is the secretary; and Matt Hathaway of Hathaway Accounting is the treasurer. Serving in the position of past president is Jim Stanfill. The directors include Billy Burke from Los Osos Cares, Gary Dove as an individual member, Mason Randall from Blueplate, Karen Sweeny as an individual member, and Brett Werner from Above Grade Automation.
