The Morro Bay 4-H Club is getting ready to start its new program year and kids interested in joining can find out more at their upcoming club meeting.
Four-H is for boys and girls ages 5-19 and is one of the largest youth organizations in the U.S.
The Morro Bay chapter’s first meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6 at the Moro Grange Hall, 1340 Atascadero Rd (on Hwy 41 east of Morro Bay).
They will have information about Morro Bay 4-H and the projects that are being offered this year. The current list of projects offered are: leadership, poultry, beef, swine, sheep, hiking, cooking, gardening, arts & crafts, and sewing.
