Celebrate a night of surf & turf with the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll when the Morro Bay Rotary Club hosts a ‘50s dinner dance at the Morro Bay Community Center.
The “Shake, Rattle & Roll — Surf ‘N Turf” is a high energy, 1950s-themed fundraiser dinner set for 5:30-10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23 at the Morro Bay Community Center, 1001 Kennedy Way.
Early bird tickets are $75 a person through Sept. 20 and then go up to $95. If you’d like to sponsor a table email Rotary President Kim Cade at: kimberlycade805@gmail.com.
Entertainment is by Elvis impersonator, and tribute bandleader, Jeremy Pearce. There will also be a Best Dressed contest (poodle skirts, leather jackets, and penny loafers, etc.), with a surprise guest emcee.
Enjoy a delicious Surf ‘N Turf (seafood and beef) or vegetarian dinner sponsored by SLO Fish Co., with tri-tip from Cal Poly Meats. Sip on exceptional wines from Rotary’s Premiere Wine Sponsor, Absolution Cellars.
Proceeds support the club’s scholarship program for Morro Bay High School seniors, grants to local non-profit organizations, and Rotary’s various community service projects.
