The King David’s Masonic Lodge, No. 209 F &AM in San Luis Obispo honored several local firefighters at the lodge’s 2026 Fire Fighters Recognition Dinner, held March 17 at the Masonic Lodge in Downtown SLO.
The fire fighters were from Morro Bay, SLO City and CAL FIRE/County Fire Departments and were honored “for exemplary community service,” according to a news release from the Masons.
Honorees included Engineer/Paramedic Casey Robertshaw of Morro Bay Fire Department; Fire Capt./Paramedic Ryan Gobler, Fire Apparatus Engineer/Paramedic Sach Doener, Fire Apparatus Engineer Andrew Gertz, Firefighter Jack Hoy, and Reserve Firefighter Parker Burt of CAL FIRE/County Fire; and Capt. Eric Lokkart of SLO City Fire.
“These individuals, by their zeal and endeavor, have been of significant and outstanding service to their communities,” the Masons said.
Each honoree received a framed certificate at the awards banquet and a $2,500 donation in honor of the firefighters was made to the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation.
