Casa Ramos Art Gallery, 1034 Los Osos Valley Road, Los Osos, present a thought-provoking art show in celebration of Earth Day on April 5, from 3 to 7 p.m. This special exhibition brings together a group of exceptional artists whose work explores a mix of contemporary art and sustainable practices.
“The theme may be Earth Day, but the art itself is modern and innovative and speaks to a broader audience who appreciates cutting-edge creativity,” organizers said.
This exhibition features John Ramos, an iconic local artist renowned for his evocative depictions of the Central Coast, Hawaii, and Baja Mexico. For the first time, his daughter, Elena Ramos Peffly, will join him in the gallery, showcasing her vibrant works in a family collaboration. Together, they offer a powerful generational perspective on contemporary art.
Other features artist are Jonny Miller, Tim Alonis, George Jercich, Philip Lopez, and Adrianne Jenkins — a group of talented artists whose work blends innovation, sustainability, and artistry in inspiring ways. Casa Ramos Art Gallery invites you to explore the gallery’s dynamic presentation of sculptural works, blown glass, surfboard furniture, jewelry, fine art paintings, prints, and more.
In addition to the incredible art, the event includes a live art demonstration by Jonny Miller, giving guests a behind-the-scenes look at how sustainable art is created. Enjoy complimentary wine and refreshments as you take in the stunning pieces on display and connect with the artists.
There will be the official ribbon cutting ceremony with the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce at 4 p.m.
