An elderly Nipomo man has been arrested on suspicion of child sexual molestation, the County Sheriff’s Department announced on Dec. 15.
Sheriff’s spokesman, Tony Cipolla said in a news release that the department was informed of alleged sexual abuse of two minor girls on Dec. 15, 2025. Detectives with the Special Victims Unit began an investigation. “During the course of the investigation, Cipolla said, “two victims were identified. Both victims are female under the age of 14. The sexual abuse began several years ago.”
Cipolla identified the suspect as Victor Manuel VillaMedina, 67 of Nipomo. According to Cipolla, “It was determined VillaMedina committed various sexual acts with both victims over the course of the past two years.”
VillaMedina was arrested Dec. 17 for suspicion of “multiple counts of lewd acts with a child under the age of 14; sexual penetration with force with a victim 10-years old or younger; sexual penetration with a victim under 10-years old or younger; and aggravated sexual assault of a minor by force.” County Jail records list a total of 16 charges, including various enhancements.
As of Jan. 5, VillaMedina was still in custody at the SLO County Jail being held without bond.
