Bob Stock – husband, father, brother – he was a family man first – friend, mentor, carpenter, softball player, grill master-BBQ, champion for the Central Coast Wedding & Event Industry, and the one DJ/Emcee above all others you would want to have at your wedding or event.

His personality was ever cheerful and upbeat, buoyant, and bright giving to others more than he asked.  Bob was a star, but he wasn’t interested in being the only one. He was always and forever raising others up to shine!

Bob was a gifted craftsman. He could build or rebuild anything. But as skilled as he was with tools, he was more skilled still with people. He built things into them – confidence, belief, conviction. And while he couldn’t pass on his talent, he could share his knowledge.

Bob came to the Central Coast in the 1990’s after having worked a long time as Southern California Night Club DJ, Radio and event DJ. He spent two years as a DJ for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. It’s been said no one could work a crowd or make them work to have a good time like Bob.

Bob is a past president and longtime member of the CCWP (Central Coast Wedding Professionals) the winner of numerous industry awards, including the California Wedding Day Best Of -DJ Award last year.

Final few things about Bob:  He had an incessant and incandescent smile.  A love affair with the word RAD.  A passion for softball.  A legacy of mentoring others.  And more friends than probably the rest of us have together combined.

His greatest love was Shannon.  His greatest pride and joy are his children Logan and Sara.  His greatest pastime enjoyment was playing softball and watching his beloved California Angels play. What gives those of us who knew and loved him most, great peace at his passing, is that now he is playing with real Angels.

Bob is survived by his wife, son Logan and daughter Sara; father-in-law Rick, brother-in-law Trevor (Melissa); brothers and parents.

A GoFund me page was set up to help his family with ongoing medical expenses. www.gofund.me/ac630c90
