Library Group Thankful for Community Support

It has been heartwarming to see the support for the Morro Bay Library and the Morro Bay Friends of the Library to retain the full use of the book sale room.  After an outpouring from community members, Mayor Carla Wixom, City Council members, and County Supervisor Bruce Gibson, the book sale room will continue to be used for raising funds for the library! This is an integral part of filling the needs of our community.

A special shout out to Councilmember Zara Landrum for her advocacy.  It’s wonderful to know that the solution reached is truly better for all involved. Thank you all for your positive energy and advocacy!  And once again, we held a successful book sale in July to help fund library needs.  Please continue to donate your used books by dropping them off at the library during open hours.
