The first-ever Cambria Artists Pop-Up Marketplace will set up shop outdoors in on Saturday, July 25, in front of the art center from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Artists will offer a variety of original artwork for sale, including paintings, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, mosaics, prints and more. They will demonstrate their techniques, and kids and adults will have the chance to express their own creativity with a special project. Admission is free.
“We will have something for everyone who loves original work by local artists,” organizer Susan McDonald says. “So, pop on by.”

Doors to current art center exhibits will also be open to visitors that day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The current show in the studio, titled “What Is Revealed,” is a reflective collection of peaceful, flowing paintings by Margaret Biggs. And in the Gallery, artist George Scribner shares his explorations of the world through his oil paintings with, “It’s The Journey.” Along that same theme, the gallery features dozens of works by local artists. All are on display through Aug. 30.
Cambria Center for the Arts is located at 1350 Main Street, Cambria. Go to cambriaarts.org for more information.
