The Central Coast Woodcarvers will host its 46th Annual Woodcarving Show on Saturday-Sunday, Sept. 19-20 in Cambria.
Admission is a $2 donation at the door. Expert wood carvers from all across California will be on hand displaying their creations that include Christmas figures, bark houses, wood burned scenes, carved spoons, bowls, birds, caricatures and more. They will also have wood carving and burning equipment for sale for anyone who might want to take up the art form.
Doors open at 10 a.m. both days and Saturday features a 1 p.m. open whittling contest. There will be raffles held all day and lots of gifts for sale by the carvers. Doors close at 5 p.m.
Sunday features a 1 p.m. Best of Show competition followed at 3:30 p.m. with more raffle winners and carving awards announced. Doors close at 4 p.m.
The show will be in the Cambria Vets Hall, located at 1000 Main St.
