Chamber Celebrates 70 Years and Community Award Honorees

The Los Osos/Baywood Park Chamber of Commerce held its Community Awards Dinner in honor of their 70th anniversary on April 6 at the South Bay Community Center.

A joyful crowd turned out to honor Citizens of the Year Dean Sullivan, publisher of Estero Bay News, and the late Al Stunk; Non-profit of the Year, Friends of the El Moro Elfin Forest; New Business of the Year, Blueplate; Business of the Year, Baywood Inn; and Volunteer of the Year, Gary J. Freiberg. 

Sponsors for the event were Bear Valley Realty, Warren’s Nursary, Carstairs Energy, Crizer Construction, Peter Starling Real Estate, Los Osos Rexall, Bay Osos Brokers, the Rotary Club of Los Osos and Estero Bay News. The meal was catered by Chef Higuera and Catering Services.
