Festival Mozaic announced its 2024-25 Fall/Winter Season, promising an extraordinary lineup of musical events that will captivate audiences across the Central Coast. This season, they celebrate Music Director Scott Yoo’s 20th anniversary with the festival, an occasion marked by world-class performances, new collaborations, and an array of unique concert experiences.
October 17-20, 2024 – John Novacek October Residency
We open the season with a special residency by acclaimed pianist John Novacek. Over three days, Novacek will perform a series of intimate concerts, including a matinee recital featuring works by Bach, Schumann, Bartok, and Liszt. This residency offers a rare opportunity to witness Novacek’s virtuosic talent up close.
November 12-17, 2024 – SLO Music Festival Fall 2024
Scott Yoo and Friends return for the Fall 2024 edition of the SLO Music Festival. The weekend’s events include a Notable Insight focused on Jacob’s Oboe Quartet, a Notable Dinner featuring Brahms’ Piano Quartet No. 2, and a Chamber Music Concert showcasing works by Clara Schumann, Bohuslav Martinů, Gordon Jacob, and Johannes Brahms. The festival will bring together renowned musicians such as Robert deMaine, Leva Jokubaviciute, Xiaodi Liu, Ben Ullery, and Scott Yoo for an unforgettable weekend of music.
February 18-24, 2025 – SLO Music Festival Winter 2025
The season continues with the Winter 2025 edition of the SLO Music Festival, featuring Scott Yoo and Friends alongside a special guest artist. Highlights include a Notable Insight on Beethoven and Grieg, and a Notable Dinner with Ravel’s Piano Trio in A Minor. The festival will culminate in a Chamber Music Concert, with performances of Beethoven’s Piano Trio No. 1 in E-flat Major, Grieg’s Sonata in A Minor for Cello and Piano, and Ravel’s Piano Trio in A Minor, featuring Adam Neiman, Bion Tsang, and Scott Yoo.
