The Rotary Club of Morro Bay has actively served the city for 70 years and continues to do so during unprecedented times. Last month the service club started visiting essential businesses and city offices to offer free bottles of hand sanitizer. As more businesses re-open, they continue to handout their locally-manufactured sanitizer.

Incoming presidents Jeff Jones and Tim Olivos lead this project working with the City and the Morro Bay Chamber of Commerce to reach-out and lend support to businesses.

The sanitizer was manufactured and purchased locally providing business income to the Fable Soap Company of Los Osos and the Bethel Rd Distillery of Templeton. Fable Soap Company generously donated an additional 24 bottles of sanitizer and 50 bottles of their hand lotion to be shared with the community.

So far, 250 bottles have been personally delivered by Rotary members with more to come. If you are an open business in Morro Bay in need of hand sanitizer contact judysalamacha@gmail.com
