San Luis Obispo’s first Candlelight concerts is a series of concerts that are all performed by classically trained musicians. Solo pianists, string quartets, and other musical ensembles take to the stage to envelop and enchant audiences with a rich tapestry of sound all while hundreds—sometimes thousands—of LED candles flicker and twinkle and cast light onto the walls. It’s almost as if the flameless light magically dances to the notes being played.
Candlelight will illuminate La Lomita Ranch for a performance featuring Vivaldi’s Four Seasons on September 25, 8:45 p.m. at the ranch located at 1985 La Lomita Way, San Luis Obispo. Tickets range in price from $37 to $62.50 for the 60 -minute event. Doors open 45 mins prior to the start time and late entry is not permitted. Age requirements: 8 years old or older. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Seating is assigned on a first come first served basis in each zone Get them at https://bit.ly/3SWQf72.

Formerly known as Coastal Cleanup Day and Creek Day – ECOSLO has joined forces with the Central Coast Partners for Water Quality to bring you an even bigger and better event – SLO County Creeks to Coast Cleanup! Join them as they track data and cleanup not only the beautiful coastline, but several inland creeks, lakes, and parks throughout SLO county.
Since 2005, ECOSLO coordinates beach cleanups from San Simeon to Nipomo as part of an international day of cleanup. Even though Central Coast beaches are cleaner than some, last year we removed nearly 5,000 pounds of trash and recyclables from our beaches, waterways and lakes.
For the past 10 years, Central Coast Partners for Water Quality have hosted Creek Day in late September. They’ve been tackling the creeks and inland sites – working to pick up heavy loads of trash to prevent that debris from eventually finding its way to the ocean.
For more information and to register for a site, go to for more information http://ecoslo.org/creeks-to-coast.
