The Los Osos Community Services District is looking for a volunteer to serve on its Financial Advisory Committee and if readers are interested, the applications are being taken online now.
Applicants must be Los Osos residents, or live within the boundaries of the CSD. FAC members review the finances of the CSD and advise the board on such matters. Though not required, they are looking for someone qualified in finances and the applications will be taken until the position is filled. And there’s this, “The Appointing Board Member reserves the right to appoint any qualified person, applications are requested but not required,” reads a news release from the CSD.
Application forms have three basic parts: first is demographic information — i.e. name, address, contact information; second is the question: “I am interested in participating on the financial advisory committee for the following reasons;” and third, “Share any experience you may have as it relate (sic) to the advisory committee.”
