With deep sympathy our family would like to let you know of the passing of our dad Ronald (Ron) Adams. Dad passed away peacefully on Sunday June 7, 2026, at home with family and his dog Misti beside him.

Dad was born Ronald Duane Adams on February 4, 1941, in Michell South Dakota to Charles Arthur Adams (Chuck) and Artis Ardell Leighton Sdanz (Twig).  His siblings included brother Edwin Edward Adams and Timothy Russell Adams, and sister.

Dad was a caring father, husband, granddad and great granddad. He also genuinely cared for everyone whose life he touched. and there were a lot of people.

He was the Coalinga milkman in the day! He went into people’s homes and stocked their refrigerators or left dairy on the porch. He supplied every school, store, ranch house and restaurants for miles. He also delivered so many tons of Ice.

He sponsored all the local team sports and was a loyal member of the Elks, Eagles and the Coalinga Chamber of Commerce. He loved the communities he supported including Coalinga, Kettleman City, Avenal, Huron and Cambria.

Dad went on to open a Store in Kettleman City and supported that community and its people with the only market in town. He then purchased his dream of living and operating a business in Cambria. Dad loved the weather there and acquired Cambria Towing and did what he does best — helping people whether that be a late-night ride, tow, jumpstart, battery or lockout — he showed up with a smile.

Dad taught us a lot, how to work for what you want and to expect only what you earn; be independent, resourceful and helpful. Some of the best times were working with him, being there all day, sleeping in the truck, lockouts, food stops, chocolate milk, walk-in beers and snacks from the ice cream freezer. We also had camping trips with the cousins, horses, hunting, pets and a home we could come to.

I could go on and on. We Love You Dad. You left us way too soon and will be missed deeply.

Join us for a celebration of life at the Coalinga Elks Lodge #1613, 200 Cambridge Ave, Coalinga CA on Saturday, July 25 starting at 11 a.m. Robert, Wade, and Tawnya.
