No Apology Needed

In response to Judy Lynn Setting, “Addis owes an Apology”, and blaming Joe Biden for the increased cost of, well, everything (Vol. 6, Issue 17). Judy, the President does not set the price of goods, including gasoline. No President ever has. The economy itself, if you look at the data, is actually doing quite well.

If you really want to know why costs are so high, write letters to the CEOs of the big corporations, especially oil companies and grocery store chains, who collect tens of millions of dollars in profits and continually take home millions of those dollars as bonuses as they raise prices at the pump and checkouts. As for the “over 10 million” people who have illegally entered the US since 2021, burdening the American taxpayers, you might, again, address your concerns to the billionaires and corporations that pay no taxes!

In other news, according to factcheck.org the number of illegal entries into the US is around 4.2 million, and actually decreasing to this day. So, basically, no apology necessary.
