The City of Morro Bay is looking for volunteers to sit on the Planning Commission and the Public Works Advisory Board and deadline to apply is 5 p.m. Friday, July 30.

The applications are available on the City Clerk’s webpage (see: http://ca-morrobay.civicplus.com/DocumentCenter/View/8320/Advisory-Board-Application).

PWAB advises the City on matters dealing with infrastructure, water and sewer including the Water Reclamation Facility Project.
The Planning Commission makes decisions regarding land use and development. This function is likely to be very important in the near future as the City will sometime soon start the review of 600 megawatt “Battery Energy Storage System,” (BESS) Project that Vistra has proposed for the Power Plant property.
