Fire fighters from local departments were recently honored for exemplary community service by King David’s Masonic Lodge, No. 209 F & AM in San Luis Obispo.  These individuals, by their zeal and endeavor, have been of significant and outstanding service to their communities.

Honorees included Captain Mathew Vierra, Morro Bay Fire Department; Captain Marcus Dunlap, Cal Fire; paid call firefighter Kayla Pedrani, San Luis Obispo County Fire, and Captain Shayne Skove,  San Luis Obispo City Fire Department.

A $2,500.00 donation in honor of the fire fighters was made to the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation. Each honoree received a framed certificate at the awards banquet in San Luis Obispo
