I understand the campgrounds are closed, but the golf course is not, Bayside Cafe is not, the Inn at Morro Bay is not. This route is the way most people to drive to get into Morro Bay from Los Osos and without having to use the freeway.
I also see campers wanting to pull in only to find that the road is closed, so they try to turn around right there at one the most dangerous spots on that stretch of highway. If they were able to pull in, then they could turn around in a safe location. Why is that road still closed?
