“Cambria the Musical,” presented by Cambria Center for the Arts Theatre runs June 24 through July 10 at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings 2 p.m. on Sundays.

With catchy tunes and clever humor, “Cambria the Musical” is based on the true story of how Cambria came to be. And how George Lull, one of the town’s founders, took a gamble on the love of his life and built her the finest house in Cambria — attendees might recognize it as well as, perhaps, finally find out how Cambria is pronounced!

Cambria the Musical was written by locals Ed and Linda Hughes and directed by Jill Turnbow. Ed is the current leader of the Cambria Chorale and Jill serves as artistic director for CCAT. The talented cast features Cambria native Sarah Smith, Anthony Toohey, Dan Cowan, Linda Hughes, Edie Irving, Ed Hughes, and Ryan C. Loyd.

Tickets are $30 and available online at CambriaArts.org/tickets
Cambria Center for the Arts Theatre is located at 1350 Main St. in Cambria.
