Chuck Rose passed away on July 29 in Paso Robles. He was born in Fresno, CA. on November 12, 1931.
Chuck had six children — five boys and one girl — Brent Rose, Keller Rose (deceased), Ryan Rose, Mitch Rose, Evan Rose, and his daughter Wendy Rose Johnstone. He was married to Kathy Rose who has two daughters, Denise Dove and Linda Paige, who think of him as a dad.
Chuck was a retired pilot for American Airlines and also served in the Korean War as a fighter pilot for the Black Sheep squadron. He was a devote Christian and went to El Morro Church of Nazarene. He was also a volunteer at the Morro Bay Police Department.
Chuck loved holidays and for just about any holiday there was some sort of yard art on display. His biggest, he saved for Christmas when he decorated his house for the community to enjoy. He even won first place in a local Christmas decoration competition one year.
Chuck is preceded in death by his son, Keller Rose, his mother, Pheobe Rose, and his father, Charles Rose, of Bakersfield.
