Ramona Lee DesErmia died peacefully in her home on Saturday, December 18, 2021. Ramona is the mother of long time local resident Kelly Vandenheuvel of Cayucos. Ramona was sur-rounded by family and friends during the week preceding her death.
Ramona was loved by so many. “I knew my mom had many friends, but it was not until her passing that I realized just how many friends she had”, said Kelly. The words that were re-peated over and over again by so many different people, were how generous, kind and posi-tive Ramona always was.
Ramona loved traveling, spending time with her friends and family, going on mini adventures around Los Angeles and sitting by the fire with her cat Jingles reading a good book.
Ramona is survived by her three children Kelly Vandenheuvel, Kevin Des Ermia, and Kirk Des Ermia, as well as her grandchildren Adam, Robert, Makena, and Kirra Des Ermia, and extend-ed family in Germany.
Ramona will be missed dearly.
