It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Robert L. Hyde on Thursday, July 8, 2021 peacefully at his home. He is survived by his loving wife, Josie Hyde; his daughters Jennifer Hyde, Justeen Hyde, and Janille Bohren; his sons-in-law Matthew Marinovich, Eric Gordon, and Jamie Bohren; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two step-children, Robert Glenn and Laurie Espinoza.
Robert was born in Arizona on September 11,1934 and later moved to Alhambra, CA. After graduating from high school in Alhambra, Robert enlisted in the Army and served in Korea from March 1953 until February 1956. He was a long-time small business owner in Columbia, CA, and lived his later years happily in Morro Bay. A graveside service with military honors will be held at the Los Osos Valley Cemetery at a later date.
Robert will be greatly missed by his family.
