Morro Bay 4-H has had a very productive and busy year. Thanks to the efforts of our dedicated 4-H leaders, parents, and volunteers, along with scheduled farm work days, our farm is looking great.
Under the leadership of Tammy Haas, our garden group planted flowers, pumpkins, strawberries, and more. The garden is thriving and was on display during our recent Farm Olympics.
We would also like to thank our amazing community for supporting our drive-thru BBQ this past April. In December, our club donated toys through Jack’s Helping Hands to help local families during the holiday season.
Our project groups have experienced great success this year. The farm is in full production with beef cattle, pigs, chickens, and sheep. Many of our members are working hard and looking forward to showcasing their projects at the California Mid-State Fair in July.
We would like to thank all of our project leaders for their dedication, hard work, and support throughout the year.
