Novo and Robin’s Restaurants Give Back

Starting June 2, sister locations Novo Restaurant and Robin’s Restaurant are giving back on Takeout Tuesday by donating 20% revenue of every takeout order to the SLO Food Bank.

The SLO Food Bank has seen a huge increase in need for local households. In April 2020, The County Delivery Program served 501% more households than projected and the Walk-In/Emergency at SLO Warehouse served 520% more households.

To help food-insecure families cope during the Covid-19 crisis, Robin’s and Novo are dedicated to helping out in the ways that they can.

They’ve expanded their community efforts because, as Robin’s owner Shanny Covey explains, “Our community has supported us during this pandemic and we need to support others. Though we are hurting financially, there are others who are hurting more and we have to help where we can because we are all in this together.”

If you’d like to support the SLO Foodbank and enjoy some great cuisine, all you have to do is order takeout on Tuesdays from either location.

As of June 3 Robin’s will be open for dine-in as well as takeout & local delivery. New hours will be Tuesday – Sunday for lunch 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. and dinner 4:30 p.m – 9 p.m. Visit their website www.robinsrestaurant.com or Facebook www.facebook.com/RobinsRestaurant/.

Novo is open for curbside pickup and delivery, daily from 11 a.m.-7 p.m.. Novo’s patio is also open to enjoy your meal. Visit their website www.novorestaurant.com or Instagram @novorestaurant.
