Local Morro Bay character, Andy Finn, was keeping busy repainting the welcome sign at the entrance to Morro Bay’s Legends Tavern, located at the corner of Main and Harbor Streets. Tavern owner, Kacey Kelso, whose popular corner bar has been closed for over 2 months, has been doing some sprucing up at the Downtown watering hole. Trees in the outdoor planters were trimmed up, and the front entrance painted. Two fantastic woodcarvings at the front entrance appear to have fresh paint. Finn’s work repainting the ‘Legends’ logo etched years ago into the concrete by Kelso, was another touch-up for the historic bar that was opened in the 1940s as ‘The Circle Inn.’
