Betty H. Hulst passed away peacefully at her home in Los Osos at the age of 94 in July of 2022. She was born July 8,1928 in Sheldon, Iowa to Henry and Tossie Harbst. She had four brothers and two sisters. She was the last surviving sibling as she was the next to youngest child.
She grew up on a small farm in Sheldon, Iowa. She went to school to become a beautician. She worked in a hair salon for many years. She married Leland Hulst and later moved to North Carolina, where they built a beautiful home together. They never had any children but loved dogs and always had lots of them.
She moved to Morro Bay 2014, after her husband passed away in 2013. She enjoyed cooking, being a homemaker, animals and reading. She has been laid to rest with her family in Sheldon, Iowa.
